We invite you to get your holiday shopping done early in Remington and Wolcott November 3rd and 4th. Several area businesses will be hosting their Christmas open houses on this weekend, other non-retail locations will also be open for tours. Guests who spend $20 at a participating Wolcott business and $20 at a participating Remington business will receive a free cloth tote and be entered into a drawing for a gift basket filled with $200 worth of local products.

 Remington Wolcott Community Development Corporation is sponsoring the event. Executive Director Sara DeYoung said small businesses support the community in dozens of ways.

​“Our local businesses do so much for the area, not only do they provide jobs, goods, and services but they are also some of the best supporters of our community and especially our youth. We wanted to create an event that would hopefully have a direct, positive, and immediate impact on them.”
